Meet Demetha and Shawn, the TwoBlackTravelers. We are global adventurers learning about love and life as we navigate highs and lows of traveling abroad.
Traveling has been a passion for a very long time but it’s not always easy to navigate languages, eat out and even drive in different countries. Even more so when you don’t see other black travelers in the community. We created this blog to support black travelers interested in exploring the world beyond their backyards easily navigate the ins and outs of traveling abroad.
Our hope is that these resources will help to make it easier for you to move freely around the world with confidence.

Where can we take you?
While there are so many amazing places to explore in the US, this blog is all about traveling abroad. We have found that many of us are intimidated by the dynamics of taking vacations that require a passport. And when you do travel, you have very few black travelers to ask what it is really like out there.
