Explore the Extensive Wine Region

Tuscany. One of the most famous regions to explore wine.  Here you’ll find delicious Chianti Classico and savory whites. A personal favorite place to start is Florence. You can center yourself here and explore areas like San Gimignano.

Northern Italy.  If you love the bubbles, there is no place better than Northern Italy for the famed Prosecco. Areas like Emilia-Romagno were once well known for it’s sparkling red wines known as Lambrusco.

  • Rome.  Visit The Spanish Steps.  Explore the Colosseum.  Make a wish at the Trevi Fountain.  Participate in mass at St. Peters Basilica.

When to Go

The best time to visit Italy is April – May and  September – October. They’re also the busiest and most expensive time to visit. The summer months June – August are the hottest and tend to bring the summer crowds. November – February is low season and attracts less visitors.  This is also when prices are the lowest.
